Complaints and Content Removal Policy
Effective 2 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-02.1
Contents
This policy says how to tell us about content or conduct on Flirty that worries you, what we do, how fast, and how to appeal. It applies to any concern: content you think is illegal, depicts a minor, depicts you or a real person without consent, shows non-consensual acts, breaks our Acceptable Use and Content Policy, infringes a right, or any other problem with the service or a decision of ours.
Priority reports. A report that content depicts a minor, depicts a real person without consent, or shows a non-consensual act is handled before everything else, and we aim to decide it within 48 hours. Anyone can send one.
1. How to report
- In the app, signed in. Use Report in the chat menu, or the Report a concern link at the foot of the page. You get a reference number (it looks like BH-XXXX-XXXX) and you can follow it on the same page.
- On the report form, without an account. The same Report a concern page takes a notice of illegal content from anyone who is not signed in. You give an email address, so we can send you a receipt and the decision, and you tick the box that says you believe in good faith that what you wrote is accurate and complete. Your name is optional. If you report sexual images of a child, you need give neither a name nor an email address. You get a reference number, but the reference page is only for a signed-in account: we write to your email address with the decision and its reason. From one address you can send five notices an hour.
- By email. If you cannot use the form, write to support@flirty.club. Put "Report" in the subject line. You do not need to be the person affected and you do not need an account.
You may report anything, including something you saw only once. If you want an answer to a report sent by email, give us an address to reply to.
What we do with your email address and name. When you use the form without an account, we keep the address and the name apart from the report, only to send you the receipt and the decision. We delete both as soon as the decision letter is sent, and in any case no later than 90 days after your report, and also if a letter could not be delivered after 7 days of tries. The report itself, without them, stays with its decision as described in section 9. We do not use the address for anything else.
2. What to include
The more of this you give us, the faster we can act:
- where it is: a link, the name of the person (persona) and what you were doing, or enough for us to find it;
- what is wrong with it: choose a category (minor, likeness of a real person, non-consensual, illegal, other) and describe it in your own words;
- who you are, if you want an answer and if you say that content depicts you;
- any evidence you have, such as screenshots or links.
If you are telling us that content depicts you, say so plainly. Flirty has no real people in its content, so a picture that looks like you is an accident of generation. We take it down when you ask.
3. What we do, and when
| What you report | How we treat it | Our target |
|---|---|---|
| Content that depicts or sexualises a minor | Top priority: reviewed first, and the persona or content is removed if it is confirmed. The decision cannot be appealed | Decision within 48 hours |
| A real person's likeness without consent, or a non-consensual act | Priority review | Decision within 48 hours |
| Illegal content, rights claims, a billing or account problem, anything else | Reviewed in turn | Decision within 7 working days |
We give you a reference at once when you report in the app or on the form, and we send a receipt to the address you gave on the form at once. We acknowledge an emailed report within 2 working days. These are targets we are staffed to meet. If a case needs more time (for example because we need more from you), we tell you and say why. The status and outcome of a report sent from a signed-in account are shown on its reference page, we send the decision on a report from the form to the address you gave, and we reply to emailed reports at the address you used.
When we uphold a report, we remove or restrict the content, and we may remove the persona, the media or the account that is responsible. We aim to do this on the day of the decision. When we reject it, we tell you the outcome.
4. Content that is yours, or is of you
If content infringes your copyright or other right, or depicts you, send an email to support@flirty.club with:
- your name and a way to reach you;
- what the content is and where we can find it;
- a statement that you are the rights holder or the person depicted, or act for them;
- why you say it infringes or depicts you;
- a statement that the information is accurate.
We act on a complete notice. We may remove the content while we look. If we remove it by mistake, we put it back.
5. What happens to the account
Depending on what happened: nothing, a removal of content, or the end of an account. Breaches of items 1 to 4 of the Acceptable Use and Content Policy can end an account at once.
6. Appeals
If a decision went against you, you may appeal once, within 30 days of the decision, from the reference page in the app or by email. Say why you think it was wrong, in up to 5,000 characters. An administrator decides the appeal, and where we can, one who did not take the first decision. A decision that content depicted a minor is final and cannot be appealed.
7. Other routes
You keep every right you had before you wrote to us. You may complain to the regulator or data-protection authority where you live, to your payment provider or to a consumer body. For a privacy request, see the Privacy Policy.
8. Records
We keep a record of each report, the decision and the reasons while we need them to handle it and to defend claims. We treat a report as confidential and we do not tell the person you reported who you are.
